Happy Australia Day Give Away

Au-flag

I'm finally back to the blog after a lovely but busy holiday. In my few weeks off I traveled to Mackay, then Sydney, across to Adelaide, drove back to Sydney and then on to Brisbane for a day and then back up to Mackay before finally getting home. I loved every minute of it but I'm glad to get back to work and back to the blog.

I'll tell you more about my travels another time as today is all about celebrating our wonderful country and how lucky and proud I am to live here.

So I thought I would have a give away!!!

              Happy Australia Day Give Away

Giveaway 2

I have a sweet fat quarter bundle of European Taupe by Clothworks, a charm pack by Clothworks, a Laurel Burch scarf, a strip pack of Stonehenge by Northcott and a Yazzi organiser.

I have a great little bundle of goodies to give away. Just leave a comment below as to what your favourite "Aussie" thing is, whether it's going to the beach, having a game of backyard cricket or just hearing someone say "no worries mate!" If you are not from this wonderful country...tell me what you like about it or why you would want to visit.

I'll draw the winner next Saturday February 2nd so check back to see if you have won. Good Luck!

Take care...Di

Welcome back Di!! There's so much that I love about Oz, but I have to say, the greeting "G'day" is one of my most fave Aussie things. It's unique to us, and sums up Australia - warm, welcoming and relaxed. I'll never forget hearing it for the first time after living in the US for 4 years. Made me feel I was truly home.

I love the diversity of our country - beachside; desert; snowy mountain plains; the diversity of our weather - tropical; arid; moderate, and cool. We are like our own little biosphere down here :-)
Thanks for the great blog and generous give-away.

Happy Australia day Di. We celebrated Australia Day with BBQ Lamb Roast(Asian tweaked) and Chocolate Pavlova topped with raspberries. I think we are truly blessed to be Australian and call it home - an abundance of fresh produce, gun laws, women's rights, freedom of speech, open spaces, sunshine and fresh air to name a few.
